Wings Over Wayne Air Show

Justin had a customer at work that he spent some time talking with, and found out that he was the pilot in charge of the Wings Over Wayne Air Show. After hearing details about the show, Justin thought it would be something really fun for the boys. We planned in advance to both be off work that Sunday, and made it a day trip.Do you think the boys needed a haircut? Wow :)

Beautiful blue skies... you'd never know it was the day after the tornadoes ripped through the state.

Preschool Music Class

For a pre-spring break treat, we were invited to watch a music and movement class at Cole's preschool. I was amazed at how many songs the kids had memorized and it was so cute to watch them do the moves they learned to go with them. The kids were super excited to have an audience so there was definately some extra goofy-ness to show off their talents!

I had to include this super sweet picture of Cole's first crush, Peyton, and her Mommy :)

Although there is a theme of little blonde beauties in the class, there is one toe head who doesn't belong! Kellen jumped right up and joined in with the class and surpisingly winged his way through most of the "performances" like he had been there all along. The teachers are so welcoming of Kellen and understand how much he loves joining in with the "big kids" every now and then.

I can't remember what song this was, or the association with the curling in a ball but Cole's little tushy sticking up in the air just makes me laugh!

Love how they hold each others' shoulders when they walk in the hall :) Look at sweet Kellen clapping for them!

"Mommy I hit a BIG BOMB!"

I sure do hope this is the first... of many, many...
proud Mommy photo shoots of a happy little boy on his first game of the season!

Although I totally have an obsession with making sure hats aren't pushing down on ears and making them stick out, I can't get over how cute all the kids looked with their way-too-big hats! Cole's team is the Orioles :)
A parent stays with their child on the field at all times because at 3 years old they obviously are pretty clueless (not to mention A.D.D.). Here's Justin making sure Cole is in his ready stance.
My little #4 :)
Cole was the "pitcher" this inning.
Coach Tim giving Cole a few pre-swing pointers..
Running to 2nd after hitting a "big bomb!!"
Daddy was 2nd base coach this time so Cole was extra excited to get there. I'm not sure who was more excited in this moment ;)
High-five for Daddy. Cole was so cute shooting me a thumbs up every time he did anything. I wish I caught one on camera because they were pretty precious.
Another bomb!

There are no words to describe how adorable it was to watch all these 3 and 4 year old's trying to get the hang of T-ball. Even though there was a parent on every base calling the child's name who hit the ball to run to them, just about every one of them at some point during the game starting running after thier own ball. Kids were picking up rocks, playing with their hats, spinning, sitting down, facing the wrong way, but ultimately having a blast. No score is kept, and there is so much encouragement from everyone for each child that it makes it a great experience for the kids. I also can't go without mentioning how proud Justin is of his son. He couldn't help himself but to buy him under armour cleats, an easton glove, and his own bat and batting helmet. He also got him a regulation Tee for practicing at home, and definately called me the day of his first game to ask if he was practicing :)

MONKEY JOE'S is an indoor play space for kids with several HUGE blow up slides, obstacle courses, and bounce houses. My boys love it there but we don't go very often because I'd never be able to keep track of both of them running in different directions. The last time we went, Kristen came with us and helped me keep up with them. The other day we met Gram, Suzi, and Cassidy for a playdate and then went to a pizza parlour for lunch. It was a fun day!

Cole, Cassidy, and Kellen are on the right... in a pile :)
Cassidy was so good with them and they just adore her!
My sweet baby boy couldn't get enough of the BIGGEST, STEEPEST slide in the place! Is anyone surprised?
Not sure what Cole is doing here but he looks like he's 6 years old in this picture! Where does the time go?!?

This picture doesn't do this climb any justice. It's as steep as climbing a ladder and about twice as tall as this picture shows. Every time Kellen climbed up all by himself I held my breath and resisted the urge to not let him do it alone. He's an "I-can-do-it-by-myself" kind of kid, and will be satisfied with nothing less than keeping up with the big kids. At least Cassidy was right behind him in case there was a domino disaster!

There's my little peanut all the way at the top!
