Cole's 5th birthday dinner

The night before Cole's 5th birthday, we got together with some family at Chow Pizza Bar for some celebrating.  I can't even express how proud Cole seemed throughout his birthday celebrations.  He seemed so grown up all of a sudden.

Uncle Chris and Aunt Jen picked out some great Legos for Cole.  Chris was really into Legos when he was younger, and we've determined that Cole must've gotten the "Lego gene" from him.  When people were asking me what to get him for his birthday, I thought since he was so good at puzzles that he might be ready for/ interested in Legos.  Thankfully he LOVES them and has put one together almost every day since his birthday.  It amazes me that at 5 years old he will sit there and put together a 200+ peice puzzle without getting bored or distracted.

The super hero stickers were a hit!

Cole passed them out to everyone at the table to make sure we were all super cool.  Uncle Chris again was brought back to his childhood (or maybe he's still living it ;-)) with the ability to educate us all on the names of every super hero sticker.  There were many the rest of us didn't know, but Uncle Chris sure did!
Reason #954 why we love Gram... she sported Wolverine on her cheek the whole night :)
Uncle Joel gave Cole some cool motorcycles and launcher.
Kellen thinks my cousin Cassidy hung the moon, and it was a bonus for Brady to be there too.
Pizza face!
I mean, seriously, does he look like one proud boy, or what!?
How can you possibly be 5 already!  You are one loved little boy.

Go Rapids!

The boys are playing soccer with i9 sports this fall.  Justin volunteered to coach after desperate pleas from the organization for coaches.  Thankfully the games are early Saturday mornings so Justin is able to commit before going to work.  Here's a few pics before their first game.  More to come!!
